This Environmental Policy establishes our commitment to environmental stewardship and defines the framework through which we will achieve our environmental objectives while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery to our clients and candidates.
Our environmental commitment extends beyond mere compliance with legal requirements to encompass a proactive approach to environmental management that integrates sustainability considerations into all aspects of our business operations. The responsibility for environmental management extends throughout our organization, with ultimate accountability resting with senior management. Our Managing Director, Ekrem Gencaslan, champions our environmental initiatives and ensures adequate resources are allocated to achieve our environmental objectives. All employees receive appropriate environmental awareness training and are expected to contribute to our environmental goals through their daily activities and decision-making.
3. CLIMATE ACTION AND EMISSIONS REDUCTION
M365Group SIA is committed to taking decisive action on climate change through the implementation of science-based emission reduction targets and comprehensive carbon management strategies. We have established ambitious targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions in line with the latest climate science and the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Our climate action framework encompasses measurement and reporting of Scope 1 (direct emissions from owned or controlled sources), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased electricity, heat, and cooling), and relevant Scope 3 (other indirect emissions in our value chain) greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.
Our emission reduction strategy focuses on energy efficiency improvements across our operations, transition to renewable energy sources for our electricity consumption, optimization of business travel through increased use of virtual meeting technologies, promotion of sustainable commuting options for our employees, and engagement with our supply chain to reduce upstream and downstream emissions. We commit to achieving a 50% reduction in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 compared to our 2021 baseline, and to work toward achieving net-zero emissions across our value chain by 2050. Progress toward these targets will be monitored quarterly and reported annually through our sustainability reporting.
4. RESOURCE EFFICIENCY AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

Our waste management hierarchy prioritizes prevention, reduction, reuse, recycling, and recovery, with disposal as the last resort. We have established comprehensive waste segregation systems in our offices to facilitate recycling and proper disposal of different waste streams. Electronic waste is managed through certified e-waste recyclers to ensure proper handling of hazardous components and maximum recovery of valuable materials. We have set a target to achieve zero waste to landfill from our office operations by 2030 and to reduce our overall waste generation by 40% by 2028 compared to our 2021 baseline.
