Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be a key part of our IT team, specializing in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions to support our organization’s digital transformation. You will work with various stakeholders to ensure our Azure environment is secure, scalable, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and a passion for leveraging Azure services to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define cloud architecture and best practices.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Azure cloud environments.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.
  • Automate deployment and management tasks using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or PowerShell.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure developments and best practices, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and changes to the Azure environment for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure architecture, including networking, security, and identity management.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
