Job Description

As a Microsoft SharePoint Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our SharePoint environments, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient information management across the organization. You will work closely with various teams to configure, secure, and optimize SharePoint sites, providing support and training to users and staying updated with the latest SharePoint developments and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage SharePoint environments including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Develop and implement governance policies and best practices for SharePoint usage to ensure compliance and efficient management.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues, resolving them promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design SharePoint solutions that meet business needs.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint permissions and security settings to protect sensitive information.
  • Create and maintain site collections, document libraries, lists, workflows, and custom web parts to enhance user experience and productivity.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize SharePoint.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise applications to streamline workflows and improve information sharing.
  • Stay current with the latest SharePoint updates and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft SharePoint, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and security.
  • Experience with configuring and managing SharePoint permissions, site collections, and web parts.
  • Proficiency in using PowerShell for SharePoint administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and other related tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer are highly desirable.
