I am a highly motivated engineer with over a year of experience in project coordination, technical reporting, and analysis. My background includes managing timelines, technical documentation for engineering projects, and risk assessment. I hold a Materials and Metallurgical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. I am currently developing skills in project management, focusing on using my analytical abilities to contribute to innovative project initiatives. I am driven by a strong passion for engineering and the relentless pursuit of knowledge and growth.
Education
A comprehensive program equipped with a strong foundation in engineering principles, materials science, and metallurgical processes. Engaged in a range of coursework that covered topics such as physical and chemical metallurgy, mechanical properties, phase transformations, fracture analysis, polymeric materials and fuels. I actively participated in laboratory experiments, gaining hands-on experience in analyzing and testing various materials. Finally worked on a project that tested the material properties of aluminum bronze with zinc as an additive. Overall, my educational journey in materials and metallurgical engineering has provided me with a solid technical foundation and a passion for applying engineering principles to real-world challenges, especially in the field of material testing, analysis and supply chain management. I am excited to leverage this knowledge and experience in my professional pursuits.
Work & Experience
● Managed project timelines and coordinated with the team leader to ensure seamless delivery of Agip's Riser Life of Field Extension project, including overseeing fatigue and integrity analysis. ● Managed project documentation and tracked progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, collaborating closely with Baker Hughes, 360 Flexlife, and other stakeholders. ● Instrumental to the optimisation of clamp design for improved fortification standards for retrofitting anodes on Agip’s subsea manifolds and Christmas. ● Collaborated with a team tasked with scoping, surveying, and conducting a risk assessment of over 20 gas facilities as part of an NGIC decommissioning and abandonment plan. ● Contributed to the creation and maintenance of critical project documentation, aligning with regulatory standards to support successful project outcomes. ● Contributed to a General Visual Inspection (GVI) for the mooring chain on Agip Exploration offshore infrastructure using an ROV, gaining valuable experience in underwater inspection techniques and data collection. ● Organised emergency fire drills involving over 20 employees to establish clear evacuation routes, manage routines, and prepare personnel for swift and organised responses during emergencies. ● Conducted crew resource management training for over 20 employees, emphasising situational awareness to promote heightened safety consciousness in the workplace.
