Job Description
As a Microsoft 365 Security Specialist, you will ensure the security of our Microsoft 365 environment by implementing best practices, monitoring for threats, and responding to security incidents. You will work to protect our data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage security measures within the Microsoft 365 environment to protect data and ensure compliance.
- Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents promptly.
- Configure and manage security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify areas of improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees.
- Document security policies and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational security policies.
Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a security role with a focus on Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features and best practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
