Microsoft Power Apps Developer

As a Microsoft Power Apps Developer, you will be an essential member of our IT team, specializing in creating custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps. You will work with various stakeholders to understand their needs, design, and develop apps that improve business processes, and provide ongoing support and optimization for these solutions. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for leveraging low-code platforms to drive digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365, as well as external data sources.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all Power Apps solutions, including design specifications, technical manuals, and user guides.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power Apps solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Stay current with the latest Power Apps updates and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure effective utilization of Power Apps solutions.
• Optimize and refactor existing Power Apps solutions to improve performance and user experience.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps.
• Strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 services.
• Proficiency in creating complex Power Apps solutions using canvas apps, model-driven apps, and Power Apps portals.
• Experience with integrating Power Apps with other systems using connectors and APIs.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate are highly desirable.
